After an adventurous four hour ride from the airport to our host retreat center, we settled into our rooms to sleep, only to be greeted by the sound of roosters, reminding us that morning was closer than we'd like to admit. It was a fun welcome and stirred excitement in us for what the day would bring! God is our supplier and He multiplied our sleep.
We woke to the bray of a donkey and the smell of breakfast - our hosts are incredibly gracious and our accommodations are an oasis in the small town of Zambrino. The team is excited to put in a workday - cleaning and painting the elementary school that the ministry here is preparing to open. Everyone is eager to serve, feeling well, and has great anticipation for all God is going to do!
